Originally Accra was built around the port but now with the population of the over two million Accra is getting stretched day by day along the Atlantic Coast and north into the interior. Across the road you can see several women with their children selling bangles, basins of oranges and yams etc. Makola market is the busiest market that is located in central Accra. The moment you enter in to the market several sales persons try to sell their product over you but on this stage you have to keep yourself determinant to buy products of your interest.
